The hand-peeled tomatoes of Conserve Pugliese have a fresh and intense fragrance, which leaves room for the sweet and full-bodied taste obtained thanks to the Puglia sun, these tomatoes are harvested during the perfect ripening period: in the summer months of July, August and September.
Cultivated and selected in open fields, the tomatoes are hand-worked within 24 hours of harvesting, in order to preserve all their taste and quality to the maximum. These peeled tomatoes, round and ripe, are ideal as a base for sauces with which to season pasta dishes, or as a base for any tomato sauce to use for your favorite recipes, and in all those situations where the scent of tomatoes fresh is called to give body and character, as well as through the sight of the same also with taste. To these is added the scent and freshness of fresh Pugliese basil.
The hand peeled tomatoes, as they once were, represent one of the fundamental cornerstones of the Mediterranean diet: ripened in the warmth of the Puglia sun, they are a concentrate of antioxidants (lycopene).

The Casa Pugliese Company was born from the thirty-year experience of Giovanni Pugliese, former founder and administrator of a company in the sector, combined with the passion of the Mastrototaro family, for generations leading a farm that boasts 50 hectares of land where it produces packaging in wood for fruit and vegetables.
Together they decide to create an agricultural reality that has become a point of reference for the territory in the production of products coming from their lands, making vegetables absolute protagonists of the table. This way preserves are preserved in oil, from artichokes to mushrooms, tomato sauce, ready sauces, pesto, paté and preparations for excellent quality bruschette produced according to ancient Apulian recipes.
